The Kansas City Southern running from Kansas City, Mo. to Shreveport, La. with a branch line to Hope, Ark. Time frame is 1975. Main line power is Fs, GP-30s, and SD-40s. Several through freights and Dodgers (way freights) with major switching in the Kansas City “Bottoms”, Nekoosa Paper Mill, Dermas Yard, and Harriet Street Yards. Numerous transfer runs to four yards in the Kansas City Area. Through freights include automobile, forest products, and grain trains.
